Volunteer Deposit
Parent volunteers are required to participate at the Richmond Rockets Oval Challenge interclub meet in February and at least one of the Richmond Oval sanctioned events. A minimum of 16 hours (per skater family) are required to fulfill your obligation to the Club. However, due to the evolving provincial health guidelines and restrictions our volunteer coordinator will contact you on required tasks and quantity of hours needed.
To ensure parent participation, a Volunteer Activity Deposit of $200 post-dated cheque (payable to Richmond Rockets Speed Skating Club)is required for each registered skater. Once minimum volunteer hours reached; your deposit will be returned to you at the AGM.
Try Speed Skating

Should you or your child decide to try speed skating first before considering membership with our club, we can offer you a two-session Try Speed Skating with speed skates to try the sport out. After these trial sessions, should you become interested in the sport, you could join our club and become a member.
Please email info@nullrichmondrockets.org to arrange in advance the introductory trial session(s).
