RRSSC 2024/2025 New Skaters Intent to Participate

Hello everyone,

Here is the link to the Intent to Register form.  Please read the form carefully and complete the questions by July 26th, 2024 at noon.  This information will assist me in coordinating an equitable and fair registration process between returning Club members and potential new members. No response or a late response will remove you/your skater from the queue but will remain on the list.  This process is to streamline the procedure and ensure fairness to those who are committed.  Further, it is not guaranteed that you will get your first choice based on the responses received AND/OR not be guaranteed a spot this season.  Our goal is to accommodate as many skaters as possible while ensuring we maintain the integrity of the Club’s registration process.  We are hoping to open registration for new skaters for Group 1 session(s) by July 26th.

Placement will be based on your spot in the queue, but I encourage you to put down your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices.  I will try my best to accommodate everyone on this email, however, it is not guaranteed.

3d/wk sessions are very limited.

• Tues Group 1 – 4:45-5:45pm
• Thur Group 1 – 4:30-5:30pm
• Sun Group 1B  4:15-5:00pm

2d/wk sessions available but limited

• Tues Group 1 AND Sun Group 1B    OR
• Thur Group 1 AND Sun Group 1B

1d/wk sessions available but with conditions** before approval.

• Sun Group 1B  4:15-5:00pm
• Agree to continue to attend community-based skating lessons.

To qualify for Sundays, Group 1B, the registered skater MUST show proof of registration in a community based/private skating lessons during the season.  To see consistent improvement, your skater must skate at least 2x/wk, (eg. 1d/wk skating lesson and 1d/wk in RRSSC Group 1B Session).  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
