2018-2019 Registration

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great summer!  It is that time of year for the annual Richmond Rockets registration and skate fitting days at the Oval.  I have attached the following forms you will need to bring with you to hand in at the registration sessions.  If you have a scanner, you may fill out the form and send it to me by email.  You can bring the payment to me at the rink.  Please come early so we may have time to fit your child with skates and get them on the ice to start the fun.

Volunteers 

In order to make this season a success for your child and the group, I ask that you please complete the volunteer form. Please indicate what you are interested or willing to do.  If you have any questions regarding the role and responsibility of each of the jobs, please do not hesitate to talk to me or a Board member.  We will need volunteers for the InterClub Meets we will be hosting this season.

REGISTRATION, SKATE RENTAL 

When: Tuesday, Sept 4, 2018  and  Thursday, Sept 6, 2018

Where: The Richmond Oval by the storage area.  Please look for the signs.

Time: 1600-2000 (4-8pm) on both days.

What to bring: the attached forms and payment cheques (Club fees and post dated cheque for skate rental)

Safety Equipment (Mandatory) Requirement: Hard shell helmet without slits, goggles, cut/water resistant gloves(no woolen or knitted type), ankle socks, Kevlar bib neck guard, and knee and shin pads.  Please dress appropriately(no shorts).

Friends/Family:  If you know of anyone who is interested in trying the sport of speed skating, please have them email me directly.  There is another scheduled “Learn to Speed Skate Intro” session coming up.  Please register with the Richmond Oval, on-line to save your spot. Fee: $10 for a 2 hour session.
