Skin Suit Orders
Hello Rockets Families,
The club is putting together an order for Richmond Rockets Skin suits. These skin suits are custom order. Please find attached the size chart as a guide. If your skater is still growing, we would recommend you order 1 size up.
Skin suits are optional. Skaters can continue to wear comfortable clothing with the mandatory safety equipment (knee pads, shin guards, safety goggles, neck guards, helmet, cut proof gloves and kevlar ankle protection). However, if the skater plans to stay in the sport, then it would be advisable to get a skin suit.
There are several options for the Skin Suits.
- Standard Lycra Skinsuit is suitable for beginners (group 1), learning to speed skate or skaters under the age of 11. The skin suit has built in knee pads and shin protection. ~$179
- Imperium(TM) Cut-resistant undergarment and Standard Lycra skin suit package is recommended for Skaters over the age of 12 and/or in Group 2 (Intermediate). This skin suit has a cut resistant lining built into the standard lycra skinsuit. It is required for competition skaters aged 12 and up. ~$369
- Imperium(TM) cut-resistant undergarment can be purchased separately. If a skater already has a standard lycra suit, this undergarment can be worn under the standard lycra suit. It’s for skaters who want some flexibility in which lycra skin suit they want to wear, if they have more than one or is a member of more than 1 club. ~$309

Once we have received your requests, we will contact the vendor to issue an invoice that includes shipping and applicable taxes. We will notify you of the final cost for your order. Payment will be required up front by check. Once the order is placed, it typically takes 6-8 weeks for the suits to arrive.
