Happy New Year

We hope that you all have had a restful and peaceful winter break. Our classes resume the week of January 3rd, 2022. (No skating January 2)
With the increasing case numbers of COVID-19 infections, we are asking for your help to curb the spread of the COVID-19 so that we can keep our classes running for all our skaters to enjoy.
Please be mindful and take the following simple steps to ensure everyone’s safety:
- PLEASE do not come to class if you are sick. This is especially important given how quickly the Omicron Variant of COVID-19 is spreading in the community.
- Please fill out our daily COVID declaration form before your skater comes to practice.
- Please wear masks at all times and while on the ice during the class.
- Please speak to your children about physical distancing while in the changing area and while they are on ice.
- Please ask your children to listen to the coaches instructions, otherwise your child will be asked to leave the ice.
- If your children are eligible, we encourage you to get your children vaccinated.
- For Sunday classes, please wait for a volunteer escort upstairs.
We will increase sanitation of the staging area where skaters lace up their skates. We are asking that parents help their own young skater with their equipment. If you are not coming to the ice rink, please ensure that your skater has all their equipment on, including their skates, before they enter the facility. This will help reduce contact of our volunteers to skaters.
To reduce the burden on our volunteers, latecomers will not be allowed on the ice.
Please help us keep our volunteers, coaches, yourselves and your children safe, healthy and happy.
Sincerely,
Grace Cheng

RRSSC Board of Directors and Coaches.
