Richmond Rockets Skater Earns Multiple Podiums at Canada Youth Long Track Championships
The Richmond Rockets are thrilled to congratulate Skyler Chu, who proudly joined other youth long track skaters to represent BC at the Canadian Youth Long Track Championships 2026 last weekend. Competing against top young skaters from across the country, Skyler delivered an outstanding performance and showcased incredible determination and skill.
Racing in the 11-year-old male category, Skyler achieved outstanding results across all distances:
- 300m — Silver
- 500m — Silver
- 1500m — Bronze
- Overall — 3rd Place
These achievements mark an important milestone in Skyler’s development as a young athlete and highlight the growing strength of Richmond Rockets skaters on both the provincial and national stage.
We are incredibly proud of Skyler’s accomplishments and the dedication he brings to training every week. Way to go, Skyler!
