Rockets in Winnipeg!

What a weekend for the Richmond Rockets! Our young athletes traveled to the 2026 Canadian Youth Short Track Championships – West in Winnipeg, and they certainly made their mark on the national stage.
Held at the RINK Training Centre, the competition brought together the best skaters aged 11–13 from across Western Canada to an academy on March 27 and competed on March 28 and 29. We are incredibly proud of the courage, speed, and sportsmanship our skaters displayed throughout the event.
Please join us in celebrating their achievements:

Huge congrats to all skaters – your hard work during practices and your dedication to the sport truly paid off this weekend. A round of applause to the parents who supported the event and also the unconditional support that the skaters needed. We can’t wait to see everyone back at the rink to keep this momentum going!
